Story

Deadchan is granted a wish. He wants to go back to therapy and unlearn what he has in hopes of breaking the cycle, but that doesn’t work. He only grows more resentment for the woman before until it eats him alive. As it always does. As it always will.

“I like to interpret the whole story as if he was always dead since the first album. That he is living in hell where he will be forever punished for how he treated the girl in the beginning. That’s how he’s able to come back to life, that’s how he’s able to turn back time. All the ‘getting better’ is just a Sisyphean torture to tire him and make his downfalls hurt more.

I originally wrote this ending to propose the question ‘is it better to hold on or to let go?’ Deadchan got hurt either way, it’s just a matter of preference to the pain.”
